Originally trained at Shanxi Medical School in China, she completed her neurology residency at the prestigious New York University Neurology Program. Today, she serves as a clinical assistant professor at both Weill Cornell Medicine and the NYU School of Medicine, while also running a thriving private practice in New York City.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Gao is passionate about bridging the gap between medicine and the human experience.
